A closer look at the features and layout of Disheartened
The process taken -
Find The location -
Using a real map reference from Oxford, England. I created a Victorian style level
Rethinking existing routes & paths to experiment with altitude within maps.
Initial Sketch & Plan -
Once I was happy with th location, i started to think about how flat roads & paths could be re-thought into scaling slopes and local pathways become medieval docks.
Building -
Once I had settled on a theme and designs, I got to work recreating a small piece of Oxford in a Game-ready Environment.
